Internationalisation
The internationalisation service, led by the Confederation of Cooperatives of Catalonia, aims to boost the interconnection of the Catalan cooperative fabric with other parts of the world through international alliances and active participation in international events and calls.
Moreover, it aspires to make Bloc4BCN the reference point for foreign cooperatives that seek to open up their business in Catalonia, by providing comprehensive support, guidance and essential tools to facilitate the creation of a local network and to consolidate their presence in the territory.
1. Centre of attraction for cooperatives
By means of the internationalisation service, Bloc4BCN seeks to bolster and expand the cooperative movement, improving employment and presence in sectors considered to be strategic.
It’s also worth highlighting the opportunity to transfer good practices between local and international cooperatives to improve competitiveness of the local ecosystem.
The essential services for cooperativism that are currently scarce in the local market and are considered to be strategic will be developed through the centre of attraction for cooperatives.
We will make Bloc4BCN a benchmark for cooperatives from other countries that seek to set up their business in Catalonia and we contribute to the cooperative movement expanding globally.
